When my son was three we had a miscarriage and wanted another child so I figured it was time to move on from BF. So I put band aids on my nipples and every time he asked we would cuddle and I would tell him I couldn't because of owwies. This helped me feel better about it all.

You will have to find what feels good for you.

Hope it goes well.

Oh ok. I'm not I'm confortable, but i dont mind her nursing and if she gets calm and naps I adore it. And thank you for letting me feel better that there's nothing wrong doing it too.

No, I don't. He was weaned at 4 1/2 so it's been awhile. But, if you're comfortable in letting her nurse, there's nothing wrong with that either!

yes i agree, but do you let him nurse at all. I find it much easier if i let her for awhile then she will fall asleep and not not ask for another day or two.

I hope she will understand! That answer will usually be fine for awhile but every now and again, he'll ask again. I just have to remind him of all the fun things he gets to do that babies don't get to LOL

One of my twins (who's 6) has said he wanted to nurse. I told him that nursing is for babies and that he's a big boy. Big Boys don't nurse and get to a lot of fun things that babies don't get to do. It's helped.
