So lopsided!!!

I've been nursing my daughter for 9 months now, and for the past several months, I've been completely lopsided! My left side is significantly smaller than the right, and when I pump, I get significantly less on that side than I do on the right! I'm talking, I'll fill a bottle on the right side, and only get 2oz on the left! What should I do?

i was lopsided and pumped like you for most of my nursing relationship (16 months) He prefered to nurse from the larger/better producing side. I tried to get him to 'even me out' by nursing more on the smaller side but was unscuccessful. that smaller side has been a bit smaller whole life so maybe that played a role in it. its been 4 months since I had to stop and they are more or less even now. hth (by the way, I think its pretty normal what the lopsidedness to happen)

Have her nurse longer on the lower side, that will fix the problem within a few days of feeding that way consistently. After you return to normal, resume breastfeeding as normal.
