My daughter is 13 months old, and I have recently stopped breast feeding. I did everything I was suppose to. Around 11 months old, I cut her down to 3 times a day, then I cut her down to twice a day...and then once a day. And now it's been 3 days since the last time I breast fed her. And now I am in horrible pain. And it's only 1 of my breast. Does anyone have any insite or advise on anything I can do to help with the pain?

punp alittle off and then frozen veggies near the arm pit area. keep bra on tight or wrap them at all times.

If the pain is from engorgement you could try using cabbage leaves and placing them in your bra. It helps relieve some pain. You could also try pumping just enough to relive the pain but don't empty the breast cause that will just keep the problem going. It is possible that you have an infection. If the breast is hot to the touch (more so than the other breast) it's likely you have an infection and should see a doctor. Hope this helps some.
