How old is your baby? When I was working, I pumped at the times I would be feeding my son. I ended up having to put him more on a schedule vs. feeding on demand. It worked out pretty well. So I went back to work when he was 10 weeks and I pumped two or maybe three times at work. The third was if I was running late. That gave us enough where he never needed any formula. Also, before I went back to work, I would pump in the morning. I would feed him in the morning and then an hour later, pump. Your milk supply is greatest in the morning. My guess is you have the feeling of ready to pop in the mornings and then like she's is starving in the afternoon/evening. It works its self out - like most nursing problems, the key is to just keep doing it. Hope that helps.
