My daughter is 24 weeks and has been BF with with some help from formula and she started getting some cereal around 4 months. Both her bottom teeth have broken through and her top 2 look like they are on the way as well. She has already bitten me a few times and I dont know if I can continue BF with that. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really like to continue BF for a while longer but those teeth are sharp!

Ouch! It passes, as heather says. When she bites, you need to stop the feed - make sure you break the suction by putting your little finger in baby's mouth.
Here is some very useful information on biting!

I breastfed my three for extended periods. They all went through biting phases but we kept going.
All the best.

mine did that too a few times when he first started teething. i would stop breastfeeding immediately and tell him "ow, that hurt mama". it surprised him, sometimes upset him, but he started to get the picture. i considered stopping bf too, but the biting phase passed. once he got used to the teething, it was less of an issue. every now and then there's a tweak, but it's rare. he's got 12 teeth now.
