I am right there with ya. I am torn too my daughter is 8 months and I have actually gained more weight after she was born due to her cluster feeding and a nine yr old who acts like 2 still. So we have had to go get fast food a bit more than should husband doesnt get home til late sucks. I have tried a formula that dr reccommended and she wont touch it. I want to lose my weight too. I am supposed to be in sisters wedding too. Your situation is a bit different though. You have done it this long so good job!

yeah i wouldnt wean yet. gotta remember nothing last forever. your son may eventually become less clingy, maybe its a security thing, im not sure. you could try pumping, pumps really arent that expensive

Honestly, weaning won't make him less clingy. This an age issue and not a breastfeeding issue. You can still give him a sippy though, since he'd need to be off bottles at around a year anyway.

One of my twin boys was really clingy and honestly, I just left. I wouldn't wean at this stage, I'd wait til he's a year. If you wean him, he'd gave to have 3 months of formula. And weaning him won't guarantee that he'd sleep through the night either.
