You should join my community weight loss support after birth. My first pregnancy I gained 61 pounds and lost it all plus some in about 8 months. My second pregnancy ( twins) I gained 61 pound and have lost about 35 so far - the twins were born August 18th. wow they are 8 weeks old! My community, weight loss support after birth is a place for moms to post menus, recipes, workouts and vent to other moms. I lost all my weight watching what I eat and working out everyday!! I do weight training 3 days a week and cardio everyday. I try and drink lots of water and limit calories to 1500 a day. Good luck

I agree with Jamie. A warning for the breastfeeding mothers here, a sedentary breastfeeding mother needs to take in a minimum1500-1800 calories a day- but one who is exercising needs more. A rapid drop in caloric intake can reduce milk production.

i applaud your progress, but if you're breastfeeding, please be careful. 1500 doesn't seem enough for a BFing mommy, especially if you're working out so much.

Hey Catherine! Great post.. I am currently on weight watchers but have'nt started proper excersise yet. I have always been a fitness freak but am a bit wary of starting as I have diastisis recti and want to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing before I start as apparently some excersises can make it worse. I have a bad back and still have pain 'down there', so this time I'm gonna take it slow and loose the weight healthily. I was SO ill during my twin pregnancy that I could'nt excersise, which was a bit annoying!! I put on about 2 and 1/2 stone and hav'nt shifted it yet. Twins were born 20th sept 09'. My first pregnancy I went on a low carb diet which was great but have since learnt its not healthy especially if you are breast feeding, which I am (Twins)

Who looks after the twins while you train Catherine?
