What do you do for your baby whn she has colic?

Not sure if my post actually went through, so please excuse if what I say comes up twice.

I found that the homeopathic colic relief worked really well. I'm not sure where you are, but ask at your health food store to see what's available. Here in Australia, we have the Brauer baby range, and they're fantastic.

Also, drinking chamomile tea helped. You need to drink 3 to 4 cups a day, and your baby will get it through your breastmilk.

Good luck :-)

I have used many remedies and prescriptions to settle my colicky baby but he was getting worse than before. Finally, an organic tea babies magic tea did help and my baby relieved from severe colic.

Make sure you have a support network around you who can help you out when you need a break. Your baby will outgrow this.

I used Oval Drops *gas drops, and Gripe water. Watched what I ate. Rocked, walked, sang.

cut all cow's milk products from your diet (read your labels!), as well as any common gas-producing foods: cabbage, brocoli, garlic, onions, bell peppers.... cut it all out for a week, then slowly (1 every 3-5 days) reintroduce them to see what ones irritate her tummy.

Also, you can give Simethicon grops (brand names include Little Tummy's Gas Relief and Mylecon). You can give these up to every 2 hours.
