Reading in some of the conversations fenugreek was mentioned. What is it? Where do you get it? Is it healthy? Natural? Doctor recommended?

I had supply issues since my baby birth and was struggling hard to establish a good milk supply but fenugreek, power pumping, oatmeals nothing worked until I started drinking "Healthy Nursing Tea" that is an herbal natural supplement and now I am successfully bfing my son since one year.

Where I live there are lots of Indian and Pakistani shops where I can buy fenugreek (or methi) leaves for use in curries. I've never thought of using it medicinally, I just use it in food! Although I vaguely remember my dad making tea with the leaves and sweetening it with honey to use as a cure for hangovers/nausea!

Here is a website that can explain it http://www.nutritional-supplement-educat... be sure and read trough it all. I used it when I thought my supply had dropped but I found out the hard way that fenugreek can cause your blood sugar to drop. Also it turns out he was just going trough a growth spurt
