My daughter LOVES music and has always enjoyed anything with a beat! I still recall her at 13 months old requesting mommy getting her some milk by singing, "milk a, milk a, milk a, milk...." to the tune of twinkle, twinkle little star, lol! She knows the whole spongebob squarepants theme song (not by my choice!) and sings it without needing the music or even having the show on, she also loves the backyardigans and tries to sing along with them in their little musicals, lol. She never ceases to surprise me with the cute little songs she makes now and I've noticed she really is getting into making up her own songs to sing. I'd love to hear about what other kids her age are singing these days!

My daughter loves any music. She's only 9 1/2 months, but she can carry a pretty good tune. One song she love is the Hoedown Throwdown song from the Hannah Montana Movie. Everytime we put that song on, she just laughs hystarically. It's probably because hubby and I act silly, but we started acting silly, when she would laugh.

My 18 months son loves lots of types of music, i think his fave song is "you are my sunshine" because since he was a little baby i would sing that song when he was fussy and it almost always calms him down. :O) When there is music on he is often doing the baby boogie, even sitting down he'll boogie. Love it!

When my son was just a baby he loved all music.. Now that he is 2 and half he has his favorites, He loves all Thomas the tank engine songs, He loves Thomas and friends.. He loves To sing Down by the Bay and thinks its a silly song.. He loves it when I sing Puff the magic dragon. Between Birth and about 5 months he was very colic and for car rides the one song that would help calm him was Oh Canada. It was trial by error to figure that one out... He was screaming and I was driving we only had a short drive left maybe 5 mins untill we got home I started singing anything that came to mind and nothing was working Then I started singing the National Anthem and He was Quiet...
I love music and Im so happy that he loves it as well... Music brings back so many memories. Every time I hear Oh Canada I think of my little man as a baby...

My son is 8 months old but his favorite song is "Layla" by Clapton. Funny thing is that he has loved it since the womb. My husband and I had to play the song to get him to respond during ultrasounds! He wiggle to the beat. Now he wiggled, waves his arms and "sings" along now whenever he hears it. It is just one of the many little quirks that he has that brightens my day!

my son was just like your daughter and still is! at 6 months old, I would clap my hands on the table 1, 2 or 3 times and he was able to copy me!

today, he is 2 years old and he sings many songs. Among his favorites : Twinkle, Twinkle, The Wheels on the Bus, Old McDonald, BINGO, and he makes up his own songs as well!!

My 13 month old daughter doesn't quite sing words yet but you put on any familiar Dora song or "Whip My Hair" by Willow Smith (Will Smith's 9 year old daughter) and she' s up dancing and "singing" along right away.
