What some other tips you can do to help wean off your child from breast feeding?

My son is ok when he is at home with his dad all day from 7am till 3:30pm. But as soon as I walk into our home and he sees me, he will grab my hand take me to the couch and try & lift my shirt and ask to feed him.

I think it is a matter of what you're comfortable with doing. I weaned my first son before he was ready (I don't think I was ready either) and it was a miserable time for us both. With my second son I waited until he weaned himself and it was so much easier. He was almost 2 when he stopped nursing and it pretty much just happened on its own.
Maybe when you come home you could offer him milk or water in a sippy and have some quality cuddle time. He may just be missing you through the day and nurses to feel close to you? Try doing something just the two of you can do, play a game, color, cuddle, go outside for a walk...etc? It will probably be hard at first, but eventually he'll move on. It gets easier, good luck!

How old is your child?
Tell him not right now at bedtime, if you are ok with nursing him at bedtime.
