I pumped this morning and the whole 4oz was really watery. Usually the first ounce or 2 is watery then the creamy hind milk comes through but this time the whole bottle was watery anyone know why this can happen? Thanks xx

I have that happen too. Sometimes it will only be wattery on one side and the other will be thick. I just figured it was normal. Lol

If its warmer where you live then you'll have more watery breastmilk to keep baby hydrated. It's amazing that way! Your milk will give your baby whatever he/she needs :-)

Breast milk will vary in color and texture throughout the day and as your baby gets older. I wouldn't worry about it.

Milk has different caloric values depending on what the baby is going to need at that feeding, don't worry about it looking different.

I'm not sure why it happens but my son is 5 mo. and sometimes that happens to me too. I only pump a few times a week but I have never had it happen 2x in a row.
