Will my breasts ever go back to the way they were?

I recently stopped breastfeeding my daughter after almost 16 months of nursing. Since my milk dried up, my breast are looking like tiny deflated ballons. I'm only 21 and I've been single for about 6 months now so the thought of someone new eventually seeing my shrivled up "girls" is really bothering me. Is there any chance they'll go back to the way they once were, or am I just going to have to learn to live with them?

Every women is different so you maybe one of the lucky ones. Mine have never gone back to pre feeding state but im proud they have fed 3 children and i can live with my slightly saggy b(.)(.)bies. I think most people who have nursed are in the same boat so dont get to hung up on them. And no man worth his salt would have a problem with them afterall they are all different shapes and sizes. x

the fact that you'e young is definately a plus for you right now. i had my son at 21, breastfed him, and it took a few months but eventually they went back to almost "normal." even with my daughter, who's almost 1 now, (i'm now 29,) they have gone back to a better shape again, but not quite like the first time. but, either way, you should be proud of breastfeeding your daughter for that long, and a real man isn't going to care what you're breasts look like when he sees what you've accomplished as a mother. same thing with stretchmarks- real men don't care because they will always say they would never put themselves through what we go through as women with pregnancy, labor and delivery. so give yourself some time, you're hormones change quite a bit again after you stop breastfeeding, and you may just need some time. but like i already said, be proud of what you accomplished with breastfeeding if they never look "normal" to you again!

I didn't have much to start off with...I was a B, then went up to a C while bfing now I'm afraid to get fitted for a new bra cause I just can't imagine being an A (which is what I'm pretty sure I am) lol...haven't been this small since elementary school. oh well I guess I'll just have to embrace my new body lol

Well...that's what pregnancy does to your boobs....It didn't happen to me yet because I BF for 21 months and in the meantime got pregnant again so my boobs are still there and nice, but I bet that after I'm done and milk will be gone I will be completely flat...I never had boobs to begin with - barely A cup, but at least they were firm...I'm expecting empty socks

I'm pretty darn sure mine were smaller after breastfeeding than before! I just wear a pushup bra, it makes me feel better lol.

Unfortunately, saggy breasts are the norm for many mommies. I breastfed for 17 months and definitely only felt confident when wearing a bra. It completely sucks! One thing that can help a bit is exercise.
I agree with Michelle though, any man worth your time wont care. None of us are perfect :)
