The other day my daughter was playing and started this gasping like ahhhhhh. I thought it was just a noise she discovered but now she has been doing it quite frequently and like stops breathing for a split second after. She has been coughing a little also and it just doesnt seem right. I hate taking her to the md in flu season. What does anyone think?

The doctor would be in good interest, but call ahead of time they might be able to identify the problem or let you know when the best time to come in would be so as to avoid the hectic doctors office at the wrong time. It could be as small as a common cold or even possibly a slight breathing problem.

I agree with Jennifer,, go to the dr immediatly. Im sure u would never forgive yourself if it became serious and u hadnt taken her to the doctor. At least u can get medical advise and it may be nothing but if it was me i would like to hear this from a professional.

It's best you take her to the Doc .My son just had a little cold but he had trouble breathing too.But, it could be more of a serious problem..Don't wait..
