how to deal with the constent fighting between siblings?

Tara - posted on 06/04/2012 ( 2 moms have responded )

i have two children , my son is 3 year old and my daughter is 5 and a half years old .
they constently fight over everything , my son tries to get our attention by fighting and being loud ( talking all the time loudly) and fighting with his sister , he doesn't let her watch tv or play by herself or draw , he has to come either jump on her , mess up her play and creat a fight .
and the possession thing is on over everything , bedtime stories, eating table , toys , dvd watching .. nearly everything .
i tried to smack , i am yelling all the time, exhausted and even i tried to seperate them each in a room , or somtimes giving each one somthing to do in each room and close the doors .
can you please help me and tell me what to do ? i am exhausted and going crazy.
my son is such a naughty boy he wants everything for himself and do everything by himself and he takes ages .

please is there anyone who has the same problem and what advice can you give me .
thank you
