Does this sound like acid reflux?

My son has been spitting up at every feeding since the day he was born. He's 3 months old now. His dr switched his formula to Enfamil A.R. Lipil. It worked great for awhile but now the spitting up has returned. He gets the hiccups after he finishes his bottle. I ALWAYS give him a warm bottle and shake it like crazy. He eats 6oz and i burp him every 2. As soon as he burps, formula comes flying out of his mouth and just keeps coming. Sometimes it will be 2-3 hours after he eats and he's still spitting up. Within the last week or so, the spit up has became "chunky" . His DR doesn't seem to think it's reflux but I don't know what else it could be. He isn't in pain all the time but sometimes he does get fussy after he eats. Does this sound like reflux? or is he just a "spitter"?

It sounds like he's a spitter. If he's not crying uncontrollably he probably doesn't have acid reflux. If you are shaking the bottles too much you might be creating more air bubbles in the formula and that could be setting off the spitting up. Try swirling the bottle to mix the formula and burp him more frequently. Some kids just spit up!
