My son is now 21 mo old...He was diagnosed at 4 mo (and started physical therapy) for torticollis. We finished PT at around 9 mo. We had him evaluated with our states early intervention program and have found that he is normal in both gross and fine motor skills, but is 25% delayed in cognitive, adaptive, and social/emotional relationships...and is 40% delayed in speech. My thoughts are that this is attributed to the torticollis. I'm trying to find research on whether the two are related or not. It's very frustrating, let me tell you!
