Teething Troubles!

My 8 month old son is really battling with teething at night ~ the maximum stretch he gets is 2 hours!

Please help with any tips or advice...

We have started him on Hylands Teething Tabs, but we're all getting a little desperate to get some sleep & to alleviate some of his pain!

Thanks so much

Thank you all so much ladies for your advice & suggestions...

its really very much appreciated ;-)

I must say my baby boy is a much happier guy, sleeping like a champion (since using the techniques from babywhisperer.com)...

My ped dentist told me to rub children's benedryl on the gums at night. It relieves the swelling.  Don't give them a full dose.  Just put a dab on your finger.

I do just about the same as the previous poster...Hylands during the day and Orajel at night. My 20 month old is working on his 2yr molars and they are hurting him more than any others have. I have been giving him a dose of Motrin at bedtime and it still doesn't seem to get him through the night. Hopefully his teeth pop through soon and everything gets back to normal.

I give my little one the Hylands during the day and just distract her a lot. Then at night, I usually

give her a nice warm bath, a bottle and then Baby Orajel for Night-time.
