Ladies,

We can all use a refreshing course in how to bless our loved ones. We have been given these beautifully creative minds, so I'd like to start a thread of how we bless our dear family and friends.

Who knows, you might find some inspiration here to go out and bless in the name of our Lord in ways you hadn't thought of before!

Awww. That is so sweet. Sounds like you've got a really good man there!

So, I am thinking about doing that reviveourhearts.com 30-day thing. Maybe I'll make a post about it separately since this thread is for blessing everyone and that is specifically for our husbands. I would love to have you join in! It will be a bit yet as I need to take care of some family things first.

Tam for my 54 birthday Rick came home with a dozen red roses. He also took me out to dinner. When I asked him what made him think of doing this for me he said,"Well it really was not something I would have wanted but I knew you would like them. so I got them for you." He knew I love fresh cute flowers.

Anne, those are wonderful...and awesome reminder to look into the love language of those around us to help us figure out how to bless them. Think sometimes that's why when we do something we think will bless them, it's not as important (we are doing it from our perspective of love, not theirs).

Maybe that's the first thing you can do to bless someone...take the time to figure out their love language.

I think this is on the same idea of what you are talking about. Rick's Primary Love Language is Acts of Doing.( I can't remember the real name for this) I know Rick is Blessed if I follow through with getting little things done like the laundry, or if I am the last out of bed if I make the bed. It does not take a lot of time and it really is not hard to do, but he sees I really do Love him when I do these things.
