I'm going to repeat what I answered in reply to another poster posing the same question as you:

This post will likely generate a great many sales schemes directed at women working from home. Invariably these schemes rely on your skill & persuasion in getting other people to part with their money! Sorry to be so blunt but the most successful people working on those schemes are pretty pushy and as such, you need to ask yourself, if, when you're in need of money, do you target others - many of whom are not especially wealthy (or even solvent) themselves?

The working from home schemes that do NOT require you to sell or to put forward your own money in start-up fees are very few and far between. Look to your own skills and decide what is marketable. Many small (and large) businesses find it more cost effective to have a website and outsource their administration to people who work from home on their own computers. If you're able to type, do accounting, research etc .... for remuneration in itself (and NOT based on responses from members of the public) then I would look into opportunities in those fields.

You need also to remember that there are hundreds of others in your position so you should attract interest by offering something different, more reliable, and giving value for money.

Good luck! Sorry I couldn't be more helpful than that!

I want the same thing, I sold Avon last year, but when the economy went down, my orders disappeared, and I gave it up. But, it is only $10 to sign up, and you set your own hours, etc. If you have a large circle of people with $ to spend on it, you could do very well. My area is devastated economically, looking for anything I can do (morally ok) to earn $.
