typically my 9month old poops once a day but for the past couple of days he has been pooping constantly. i think it is related to the tooth he is getting. his butt is starting to get red, even though i have been changing him promptly, and i always give him a bit of time to air out after each change.

i don't have any CD friendly creams so i'm wondering if i need to use a fleece liner to protect my diapers, or would a flushable liner work (specifically, bummis liner)?

i have lanolin left over from when my son was a newborn, could i use that until i get a CD friendly cream? would i need to use a liner or would lanolin wash out?

fleece liners will protect your diapers - but so will the flushable liners. however, fleece liners will help to wick moisture away from the baby which could be helpful if the poop is runny

in terms of the rash, you'll want to get a cloth diaper friendly rash cream. the more he poops the redder his bum will get (trust me). airing out will help but in my experience, you really need something to protect his bum. my personal fave is earth mama angel baby bottom balm and you can find it at babies r us.
