I need help with my daughter's hair

My daughter is mixed (Portuguese and Black) and I am having a hard time with her hair. It is very curly, and very soft, and I absolutely love the curls. But I can’ seem to find a product that will help keep the curls all day long. I wanna just leave it out every once in a while, and not up in ponytails or pigtails. I refuse to use oil in her hair, but I really don’t know what else to use. Can anyone help me??

I have hair like you described you daughter and the best thing I have found is Johnson and johnson no more tangles creme. It works better then all the other fancy products. My daughter also has curly hair but big curls, and I use this for her just not as much product. Remember that if you are going to let the curls, do there on thing every day they will get a little curlier which means nots, it's best to brush in the shower if you can.

unrefined/ raw shea butter is the best natural moisturizer u can put in ur hair and use it on ur skin. Shea butter has so many good benefits for ur hair and ur skin. and its NATURAL, works very well on my daughters curly frizzy hair and keeps it moisturized

I make whipped Shea butter cream with other natural oils...I use it on my kids hair and skin also my own.
There are lots of recipes on youtube and google...very easy to make and more affordable than greases n hair gels with CHEMICALS

i buy my Raw Shea butter from amazon.com u can find it in health food stores also. Then what i do is in a glass bowl I put 4 to 5 tablespoons shea butter and mash it until its soft smooth with a fork (NEVER HEAT OR MICROWAVE it will damage the nutrients).. if u have a hand mixer that is even better. Then after its soft add ur oils I use 2 tablespoons of Organic Coconut oil.. can also find it in health food stores or online. Also used a tablespoon of olive oil.. Again u can use any oils u want Jojoba oil, Almond oil.. Etc..Mix it all together until it is a creamy consistency.. if it gets too runny/oily put it in the freezer for a couple minutes then take it out and keep whipping and then store in an airtight container.
