I need good diet idea's

I need some good diet idea's out there,hopefully easy ones to follow and lose weight on ,with kids and teenagers in and out of my house all the time it seems there is always junk food here,I cook real good food everyday ...but it's those late night snacks that kill me,cause I am a night owl.

It used to be so easy for me to lose weight but now it is difficult. What I find helps is walking, stretching and drinking milk or soy milk which a little sweeter late at night and keeps you full. : )

You need a life style change, just like me. I am on Weight Watchers, I bought the books and do it myself. Just remember weight loss is a slow process 1-2 pounds per week. You might loose inches instead of pounds so just don't focus on just the scale. I did ww before and lost 40 pounds. I am going to stick to it this time. Best of luck to you!!!

I always have a hard time losing weight and always said I would never take any of these diet pills but then my mom started taking healthe trim (healthytrim.com) and was losing weight without changing to much of her routine so I started taking them just to see if it would work for me and since oct 24 I have lost 20lbs for me that is great (of course I would love to have lost more but slow is better they say ha ha ha). I have a wii system and try to do my wii fit everyday at least weigh in on it if I have no time for the fitness part but I have gotten to a part on the wii that I can sit and do a step while I watch my shows that I record (because I never can get to watch my shows so they build up) it a good way to just keep moving and man can you feel it...well I wish you well and good luck on trying to do whatever works for you GOOD LUCK.

At the age of 13 yrs old my son was diagnosied with high blood pressure. The best thing for him and I was to see a nutrionist. It really opened our eyes, but mainly for him. If your snacking, try baked chips instead of regular, bake fries inttead of frying, eat sugar free pudding instead of regular. I am a diet coke drinker, and I find that although doesn't have sugar, it makes me have more cravings and feel very sluggish. When I drink water, I have much more energy and I don't crave all those sweets, plus the more water you drink the more it will flush out the bad stuff. Anyhow this is just a few things I try.

Well i have wii fit and i also did the hcg diet and lost twenty pounds which i am getting ready to do again. The hardest part of the diet for me was not having sugar. I don't know if you have heard of this diet or not but it does work. Let me know if you would like the info. Michelle Murdock

or if you have time to , make your food ahead of "time" because when your in a hurry it's soo easy to grab the quickest thing to go, which is usually not so good for your body.

OH, and for those late night binges, keep healthy snacks ready and try not to eat much of certain proteins as it is the hardest to digest late at night.

Hi. First let me say I hate the word diet. The first 3 letters spell die...and that is usually how you feel when you are on a diet...:)
I believe that if you don't have health problems which prevent you from losing weight, then the best way to eat is is small portions of all food categories (healthy ones not junk) throughout the day. This prevents peaks and lows of your insulin levels and allows the organs to function properly. Small portions about 6 times per day, along with light exercising such as walking and strength training should do the trick barring no other health problems. Hope this helps.

Go for a walk if you can or walk up and down the stairs in your house 3 or 4 times. If it is at night when you are watching TV, turn the radio on and dance or have a small dish of popcorn...the 100 calorie bags are nice for not over indulging. You may not have time to count calories or points, so just write down what you ate all day at night and you will start to feel guilty and not want to eat the junk...also, make a cup of hot flavored tea with splenda...no calories and it will fill you up and help your digestion. take your time, for now i would count your calories everyday for a week w/o changing a thing. keep track of them, then find out your healthy intake on a daily basis and if you're eating too many cals, then slowly take some out everyday ..get yourself comfortable with it. get your body used to the changes. drink plenty of water(i'm bad about it) . try out some exercises fun for all , that way you have people to do them with. stretching is very important. i like beginers yoga. I actually, i never knew i was doing yoga type excercises untill i turned a show on, to my realization most of what i was doing was just that. very easy when you do it at your own pace.

My mom does weight watchers and it has helped her out alot. maybe try that becasue they have a points thing for every week.

Dear Sherry,I am a53 year old woman who just started dieting to after all the Christmas cookies. What I have been doing is I have replaced my sugar witha no calori sweetner in my coffee to which I drink so much in a   day.  eat a healthy lunch but include a half of a grapefruit with the same artificial sugar to sweeten, Then for your night time snacking eat the other half of the grapefruit,It seems to help me?       Janette

I have noticed that if I drink a glass of milk before I eat, I eat less. It is also a great way to avoid Osteo Perosis. I have a problem with the late night snacking too. I usually eat a half a PBJ sandwich with a glass of milk. Puts me right to sleep. Hope this helps.

well, for me it is with my kids. we have a wii system that has a dance game and a fitness game. my kids modivate me because the y do it with me. I also do a low carb and just beef and chicken diet, nothing fried. all baked and vitamins. it helped me lose 20 pounds right after i had my daughter.
