2 and still everything goes in her mouth!

My two year old daughter (who is the middle child with a sister of 4 and a 9 week old brother) still puts everything in her mouth. Luckily we haven't choked on anything to this point, but I thought we would be done with this by now. Anyone else having or have had this problem, and if so, what have you done?

Me too girl!! Same thing. Same as everyone else too. Just keep reminding her that only food goes in her mouth. Worst thing is she will put little toys all the way in and just keep it in her mouth if I don't nip it in the bud. I also thought it would be over by now as well. I think it's just that she still has teeth that need to come in, but it's still nasty. ha

HI my son 2year old, also puts everything in his mouth - and likes to eat paper!! Needless to say when we start colouring in the crayon, pencil and paper get chewed on. I don't know how to stop it - Like Jen (below) I also just keep telling him to stop putting things in his mouth. I think I'll try the J&J soap thing now.......

My daughter too. I usually attribute it to teething. We just constantly remind our daughter not to put that in her mouth or we're going to take it away. She mostly does it with play food or other toys, but it's still stuff that shouldn't be in her mouth.

Hey Jamie my son does the same thing. what i learned helps is if you wash early thing in johnson & johnson soap . The after taste is so nasty that he is beinging to learn not to do it. inaddition since its johnson & johnson soap i know its safe if he puts the toy in his mouth. i hope that helps
