My twin girls turned 2 on Christmas Day. I decided to have their party 2 wks before their birthday so that the party was done and over with before all the holiday celebration began. All we did was something very small with just our family and friends. Cake and ice cream. Everything seem to have went well. One thing I have also decided to do is have a summer party with no gifts just so that they can have a get wet day party or have it at one of the local parks which ever the choose.

Kiera turned 2 on the 5th of December, and we had a small party for her. It was Tinkerbell themed. Not a real super big party, but something fun. family and friends over with tinkerbell cake.

My daughter turned two on the 29th. We had a cake for her with just us. Then, this past weekend we had a party at our house with family and friends. It's so much easier holding the party past the holidays. I did her first birthday the weekend between christmas and new years.....it was crazy and exhausting. I will definitely be saving her parties for January from now on.

For Jeremiah's second birthday, we did a party at Gymboree play gym! It was perfect except none of his friends from school came because it was right when everyone was letting out for break. We do have lots of kids in my family though and some family friends brought their kids. It turned out to be a lot of fun! And it wasn't expensive at all! It was about $220 for the party and that includes juice boxes, table settings, party favors, and a teacher to play games with them. Basically all you have to bring is your son and the cake! We brought pizza as well. I would highly suggest that!
