What kind of activities are you doing with your 6 mo?

We go for walks, play on the swings @ the park, lots of tummy time, she plays in her excersaucer, she's got a seat that hangs from a doorway that she kind of bounces in, Peek-A-Boo has been a huge hit recently (I've never heard her laugh so loud), we read books.

We mostly play with her toys. She loves to be thrown about while I sing to her. Sometimes we go into town and walk around and do some errands, sometimes she comes to work with me though not for a full day. Occassionally we go to see the grandparents or one of her Aunts. Itsmostly play together at home and if I have to go out then she comeswith me. She loves it cause she gets cuddles a plenty wherever we go.

We walk every day and on the weekends go to our cottage where we do Nature walks! I love the idea of a playgroup, I find most of the time its just me and my son, we read, sing and play with toys, we also plan to join swimming in the fall for baby swim lessons. We plan to do quite a bit of travelling this summer to visit relatives.

While at home, we sing songs, read books, spend time on the tummy. I'll put toys just out of reach for him to get. Every day we go out for a walk. Once a week we attend a baby group that I have been with since pregnancy; we actually "graduate" this month as all babies do at six months, and we'll be going to the group for children aged 6 months to 2 years. We go out to see friends often, many who have children of their own. My son is very sociable and loves to watch what everyone is doing around him! At the end of this month, we will begin two weeks of baby swimming lessons, which is sure to be a blast.

i take her to a little group on a friday thats called rock and roll its 50p she can interact with children her own age and older do hand prints just made fathers day cards and she gets to play with other toys other then ones at home.

i play at her level and change her toys over every so often so doesnt get bored

We also go to the park and swing on the swings, walk around the block/town. When we`re at home she gets a lot of one-on-one time with both Mommy and Daddy, we play on the floor with her toys, read books together, sit outside so she can watch the world around her. I like to take her out and about to see other people. We`re also lucky because she has two cousins that are close in age to play with as well.

I take him to the park to swing on the swings or around the block in his stroller. We also go to the pet store and look at fishies and go to this museum here that has wildlife native to this area. They have fish there too and lots of things to look at and touch. He got to touch a horseshoe crab! In fall I'll be signing him up for mommy and me swim classes at the Y and taking him to story time at the library. I guess they don't have a lot of stuff like that for babies in the summer because everyone's focused on keeping the school aged children busy!
