I have a friend with a son who got teeth at 14 months ..at about a year she took him to the doctor because she was worried and he actually laughed because he was so stunned ...he hadnever had a mom come in for thisreason before...her son did get teeth a couple months later and all at the same time

My daughter turned one on the 16th and still no teeth. I asked her doctor if we should be concerned. She told us that they don't worry about it until 15 months, then they have you take them to a dentist for a x-ray to make sure they have even have teeth. But yeah, the longer they take to come in the healthier and stronger they will be in the long run.

My oldest daughter didn't get teeth until 14 months, and my one year old doesn't have any as of yet. Both my husband and I got our teeth late, and they say the longer it takes for them to come in the healthier their teeth are. Good luck!

I fully agree with Jordan. It wouldn't hurt to visit your local pediatric dentist though.

My daughter (she just turned 1 on the 18th) didn't get any teeth until she was 11 months old. My best friend's daughter didn't get any until she was almost 14 months. I don't think it should be a concern for you that your own daughter doesn't have any teeth just yet. Often times, it's genetic--if you or your daughters father didn't get teeth until a later age, chances are she might not either. If you still have some concern, talk about it with your pediatrician. Best of luck to you! :)
