When is it time to toss out old bottles and sippy cups? I have been noticing that a few of the bottles and sippy cups that we use for mainly juices are getting an odor, even when I wash over and over, the smell wont come out. Its not a horrible smell, it just smells off. Sorry if I'm not making any sense. So is it time to toss them? Should I use a different soap?

Thank you Joy! I have a few of the same bottles and sippy cups, and although she doesn't drink the juices everyday the bottles and sippy cups still smell. I am going out later to buy more sippy cups for her and toss out the old ones! Thank you so much for your help!

Heather, you said in your post that you used them for mainly juices. It is time to TOSS them, the sugar+ the age of the plastic (plastic ages when heated, including being hot washed). there are also some plastics that when just STORED in certain conditons get what feels like a sticky rubbery coating on them, so okay plastic doesn't shatter, but FOOD QUALITY plastic has a shelf-life; after that it becomes trash.
