My 9 week old was spitting up a lot and was started to get fussy a lot. We finally went to the pediatrician one day and they have told us he has acid reflux. We did the whole upper g i and everything. The medicine we have been given is working and was curious if anyone else's little one has been told the same thing.

my son has reflux too, but we didnt want to put him on any medicine since hes so young, so we tried to hoem remedy, putting a small ammount of rice cereal in his formula (hes not a typical 3 month old, he can stand with little support only for balancing, is over 2 1/5 ft tall and already doubled his birth weight, plus he constantly grabs food from people an tries to eat an an will use a spoon (me holding it feeding him but yeah he tried to grab it an find his mouth just doesnt know how to do that yet, thank god!) but the rice cereal really helped, hes eating only like 1 scoop cereal in about 6oz formula and you cant really tell its in there, but he doesnt vomit and he usually doesnt spit up much. he usually eats sppon fed cereal or baby food atleast 1 or 2 times a day also, but still has a 6oz bottle even with that.

i just hated the idea of putting him on meds so little, and this works great so it works for us =)

Yes my little one has reflux. She is on Losec an adult dose. She still suffers to this day on it and is 6mths old. She regurgitates in her mouth and still chockes and gags. Some days are better then others. Introducing food is hard there is alot of foods that agravate reflux especially fruit so becareful. She had to see specialist and had an endoscopy and everything. Try mylanta 2ml before feeds or if you notice extra slyvia or symptoms as it helps my little one so much. She was in hospital twice with this. It's so hard to try and comfort them when they have it.

My son has reflux after feeding he will puke up 3 anf 4 ounces of milk. The doctor gave him zantac and it helps a little. He is 13 weeks.

Both of my girls had relux. They were both put on prevacid. My first one also was on Nutramigen formula due to milk protein allergy and she took metoclopromide to help her stomach empty faster. My second daughter is also on Neocate formula for her milk protein allergy and we are adding thick it powder to her bottles to help thicken it to stay in her. Seems like a lot of infants are getting this these days.

My 12 1/2 week old has acid reflux. We tried one medication but had to switch to a stronger one called prevacide and seems to be working much better. He smiles now instead of always crying.
