I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to help a colicky baby sleep? My son has such a hard time sleeping during the day that it gradually gets worse as the day progresses making evenings very difficult to soothe him. He only has 30 minute catnaps throughout the day if that. One day he was awake for 15 hours straight. Just wondering if anyone has some advice? :)

I have successfully soothed my colicky baby by putting him on babies magic tea.

i dont no if you believe in chriopratic. but my little girl was alittle colic and i went and got her back adjusted and she isnt colic anymore. the doc said that all babies have this spot on there back that pops out sometime because they were scruncted up for so long. and when there born they try and straigten there selves out but it hurts. anyway they call it the colic spot, like i said i got my baby adjusted and shes fine now. i would try that. good luck

My son is 13wks and has been colicky the only thing that seems to help is Gripe Water and a nice warm bath with aveeno baby Lavender & Vanilla calming comfort bath followed with a gentle massage with the same kind of lotion... I hope this helps!

One thing that really helps my son when he is colicky is Hyland's Homeopathic Colic Tablets. They dissolve instantly in the mouth. Just give your colicky baby two tablets every 15 minutes for two hours. Sometimes if my son is really fussy and he won't calm down, after I give him the first four tablets, it calms him down enough to burp or get the bubbles out of his tummy and he falls asleep because he's so tired. Good luck... hope this helps!

My daughter has Colic the only way I was able to get her to sleep was using Johnson's Bed Time Bath. It's in the purple bottle. It's pure genius and they will actually sleep all night!

I have a client that had a colicy baby and she said the only way her son would sleep was in his bouncy seat on the dryer. she said as long as the dryer was running he would sleep. Hope it helps and good luck.
