Morning sickness and headaches

It seems that every time I am pregnant I am nauseous all day and get these killer headaches every day for the first 20 or so weeks. I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions that I may not have tried yet. Oh I should add that I choose not to take tylenol or any other otc drugs during pregnancy and breast-feeding. The only thing I have found so far that works for nausea if ginger but it doesnt last long enough! The headaches, well I'm clueless. Please help!!

My sister in law, who's had 5 kids, says that drinking real lemonade (not the mix Country Time and such) helps with nausea. Something about the lemons nuetralizing the acids in the stomach. I was having constant nausea all day long, I tried drinking just a small glass of Minute Maid lemonade and it seemed to work. Also, I sucked on Starlight spearmint mints. They seemed to help too along with taking my prenatals at bedtime instead of the morning.
I've been getting killer headaches this pregnancy and don't want to take anything otc either. I did break down and take a tylenol the other day because it was so painful and making me really short tempered w/ my family unfortunately. Other than that, I've been trying to lay down til it goes away. I would love to find something else that helps, I'm a busy mom and wife who wants to enjoy the rest of the summer. Not laying in bed with a headache while my family is outside swimming and playing. Thankfully my husband has been great and so understanding

I had the same issue but No to morning sickness tea made my pregnant life much more comfortable. You can ease your sickness with the help of this herbal tea and then can enjoy the outing with your family.

Have you tried changing your prenatal vitamins? For my first pregnancy and again for this one I was very nauseous to the point of not eating. Then I tried changing my prenatals to Flintstones complete (recommended by my ob) and within a few days the nausea stopped. As far as the headaches I can't help you sorry. I'm a sufferer of migraines and have to take Tylenol while pregnant to help control them since nothing else is safe.

I know what you mean! I too broke down yesterday and took a tylenol which did help a little but it made me feel really guilty. I started putting spearmint from my garden in with my water and that has helped with the nausea a lot but these darn headaches!! They can't last forever, right? lol

i know what you mean... with my first it was the worst! four months straight of nothing but sickness. my brother decided because i was never only sick in the morning that we were going to start calling it pregnant-sickness from then on, or pregness for short!! i just kept a stash of crackers with me at all times but it was suggested to me lately that eating more green veggies is suppose to help as well. i havent tried it yet but it could be worth a shot! i refuse to take meds too so i completely know how frustrating that one can be!!

I get the same way with the nauseousness. I eat crackers right before I fall asleep, then I wake up slow and have some more right before I get out of bed, it seems to help, but I still have some sick feeling throughout the day. It is no FUN, almost feels like a hangover that never goes away :)
