What has been the biggest saving grace in these first few months?

I'd have to say it's a toss-up between my Boppy and my Playtex Breastmilk Pumping system!

I love the former, bc it's just so versatile! Not only does it help to feed or hold him in my lap, but for tummy time and propping him up in a semi-seated position when I'm doing other things.

I love the latter, bc it's so nice to just pop the frozen breastmilk-filled liner into a bottle and heat it up from there! It's really handy to take to his daycare, too.

What are your biggest saving graces?

MAM anti-colic bottles and paci.
I used Nuk since Leilah was born. She struggled to eat from the start. She gained weight, but it took her more than an hour to get her milk down. Sometimes longer. She refused the paci from birth. She was about 4 weeks old when I read about MAM in a baby magazine and decided to try it. For the first time in her short life she was able to feed within 15mins. I never expected it to make such a difference. I was amazed. First time mom here so still learning.
We've spent a lot of money on different brands of pacifiers. She refused all of them. At about 8 weeks we tried a MAM paci that we got for free with a baby magazine, and she loved it!
MAM truly changed our lives :) I know Nuk and Avent are wonderful products, it just wasn't right for our little princess.

we have 3 month old twin boys and our cradle and swing (little lamb from babies r us) have been great. they love napping and relaxing there, and with twins you need something like that :+)

my best thing was the Itzbeen timer....I used it a LOT in the beginning to keep track of diapers and feedings....because I was sleep deprived and have a toddler. I really couldn't remember who I had changed last and who had eaten when. It also keeps track of things like sleep and medication given. I love the little flashlight and the clock on it, too. It really has been a life saver for me.

Dr. Weisbluths Healthy Sleep Habits Healthy Baby. Definitely my bible for sleeping the baby and my baby has been sleeping from 5:30 pm until 6:30 in the morning w/ a dream feed at 9:30 initiated by me and then only one feeding initiated by him b/w 1 and 3 am. He also takes 3- 1 to 2 hour naps a day. Thank you Dr. Weisbluth for an excellent easy to follow book. No sleep problems in this household.
