I am having my 3rd baby and experiencing a lot of pressure and pain in the bottom area. I carried very low for my first two pregnancies and I wasn't sure if this was something to be alarmed about. It seems to happen more when I am having a very active day. (Active meaning carrying around a 2 year old and on my feet all day). Sometimes it is very painful and it makes me have to sit immediately. Has anyone else felt pain and pressure at 33 weeks pregnant and should I be worried?

Purchase a support belt if you can. It make a huge difference for me during my 2nd pregnancy.

Thanks, it makes me feel better knowing someone else is having the exact same issue. My next apt. is Mon. and I will let my Dr. know.

This is also my 3rd pregnancy. The doc told me that over the pregnancies the ligament are streched and not supporting the baby as much as they did with a first pregnancy. I am also dealing with a lot of pain and pressure too. I am also dialted to 1cm as of 2 weeks ago. If you are still having the pain and pressure when you go into to see the doc have them check you out to see if you are dialted too. I also have to carry around a 2 year old when I go out in town. That doesnt help with the pressure at all. Try laying down for about an hour and see how that feels. I lay down for a little while when the pressure is really bad and that helps it ease up some.

I have the same problem....i worked out a lot throughout this pregnancy. so i went in for a a check up and told him about it and to check me and he said i wasnt dialted but my cervix was soft. I later had to go to the hospital to get a non stress test and I ended up dilating to 3 and half centimeters in the same day so now im on medication to try to stop my labor. ITs better to tell the doctor to check you just in case!
