I wouldn't think it's the medicine but i agree with the previos poster about consulting the doctor. My son also has reflux and they put him on baby zantac twice a day. It seems to help. We went through some formula changes too. They said to try Enfamil AR, that's a little bit thicker, it has some rice starch in it. It kind of puffs out in their stomach so it stays down better. At first it seemed to help but he was still having a lot of spitting up. So the doc said to try soy and if that didn't work to add something called Reglan that helps their stomach empty faster. That kind of scared me so we tried the soy first and yay it's made a big difference. The doctor said that he didnt think that Bradley is lactose intolerant. He said that for some babies the soy protien is just a lot gentler and easier to digest. I hope your little one feels better soon!

Hi, I doubt its the gaviscon as its not adsorbed in to the body and dose not neutralise the acid, he could just be having a growth spurt they tend to want to sleep a lot when they happen.

But if you are are worried the best thing is to go to your doctor you can never be too careful with baby's
