What is your 10 months old doing now ... crawling, first steps, teeth count..?

My daughter is 10 months on the 21 of Jan and just the past 2 days has been taking her first steps, She has 2 older siblings and they say that the younger ones want to follow the older ones, almost seems true since my older 2 didnt walk till they were a year old. As for teeth she got her 2 bottom and we r still waiting for her top although one is starting to show through her gums :) Sometimes its hard to see them progress when u want them to be this age forever :)

YMy 10 month old is walking, and has 8 teeth. Even though I am not quite ready for him to grow up yet , it is a joy seeing him excel and explore. And he loves it.

my daughter born 11/1/10 is 10 months. She has five teeth. She cruises and crawls, eats finger food, is very active and can say 'mama' 'nana' 'dada' and 'baba.' She likes to sort objects out (put balls in boxes) and stack up cubes etc. She likes flipping through books, she can clap, and dances to music. Although she is an only child, she has picked up these quite easily, so am very proud of her :)

Olivia is still commando crawling bless her, cos i look after other children they do things for her so she thinks why should she try when they will do and get things lol but she is saying quite alot, mama, dada but trying to say daddy, nana, hiya, baba and when we sing songs she tried to say yay, she claps hands and loves singing pat a cake, she loves to shake her head as if to say no which looks so cute and makes the most cutest and funniest faces she now dances to music and gives the cutest kisses and has just learnt to give hugs, i'm not pushing her to walk cos i love the commando crawl and i'm having trouble keeping up with her at times lol so when she starts walking its gonna be harder and that means she is no longer a baby sob sob

she has 2 bottom teeth one top front one, another on its way and the two either side of the top front ones.

my boy was born jan 16th. only just got his first two bottom teeth and had his top two coming through. hes been crawling since about 6months and pulling his self up and trying to walk since 8 months... hes a very active baby and doesnt stop, he loves being at nursery and is very social with the other babies. I have noticed over the last few weeks that he seems a bit frighten about walking. for example i will be walking him around the living room but as soon as i let go of his hands he sits straight down. Hes only been like this for a couple weeks and i have no idea why... what would anyone suggested?

Louiza (born Jan 6) is walking. She says 'mama' and 'dada' and 'tata' and her bottle (tietie) and calls her sister 'deeeedrei' and the dog 'uit' (which means out in afrikaans). She waves and claps her hands and has these long conversations. She has not a single tooth in her mouth but her smile can light up any room.

My son was born on Jan 21st too! He has been sitting by himself at 3 months, crawling since about 5-6 months... he pulls himself to standing, cruises all the furniture and will walk when you hold his hands... he stands up by himself from sitting or kneeling... and will stand for 10-30 seconds alone without losing his balance... has four teeth... two bottom middle and two top front... he says "dada" all the time and has said a couple others but mostly he likes "dada" best... he has been holding his bottle for awhile... and he also drinks from a sippy cup when he wants too...

My son is 10 months and can walk already. Sounds amazing? Yes he can! He can say "dada" "amy" "papa". He loves playing at the tub. :) He can hold his bottle on his own too. He has 4 teeth as well. He can drink on his training cup already.

my boo boo will be 10 months on the 27th, and iv never met a kid as lazy as he is. hes not crawling or trying to walk. he bounces when i stand him up, but thats it. he can hold his bottle but prefers not to, he rolls around a bit, but doesnt go very far. he has a lot of teeth tho. he has the bottom 2 that have been there for 3 months anyway, and he has 4 coming in on the top and another one on the bottom that i can see.

My DS will be 10 mths on Nov. 22 He started crawling at 6 months, started pulling up and cruising at 8 months and still only has 2 teeth. Babbles A LOT... Says Mama, Dada, num num, and Nye Nye (night night) :) He has a very strong urge to be verticle but, isn't walking on his own yet.

My daughter was born Jan 21st too! She walks about 30% of the time and crawls 70%... she started crawling at 6 months. She eats all finger foods now and has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on bottom. She can say mama, dada, go, and come here (I guess because I say it so often LOL). I agree with everyone else, they grow up WAY to fast! :-)

My daughter will be 10 months on the 20th. She has 8 teeth( 4 on top and 4 on bottom). she just started crawling at 9 months and soon after started pulling herself up on everything. She isn't walking yet but she seems to want to balance a little on 2 feet. They grow up SO fast!!

Susanna - posted on 11/16/2010

yes i couldnt agree more, everyday my LO does something new and im like please stop growing, but the saying is true 'the dont stay babies for long' My small man does practically everything apart from crawl (as he wants to walk constantly) pull himself up into a standing position ( is nearly there tho :)) he has 4 teeth and dribbling mad at the moment so just waiting on some other ones to come through :)
