High Chairs

I have an Eddie Bauer high chair and it is horrible! Does anyone else have this particular high chair? The padding is so thin and when I put him in the padding slides down and his head hits that wood. I bought it because it was so pretty and went with our dinner room table but it is so not practical. The poor thing HATES going in it. I have to buy a new one now. Any suggestions?

I have that high chair and love it. We used it for our first child also. Until your baby is a very good sitter, try using a Bumbo chair or another type chair at dinner time. My 5 month old sits good, but she leans forward, so we use the Bumbo chair still. The Eddie Bauer one is really the best for about 6 months and up.

That's precisely why I did not get the Eddie Bauer high chair. That's probably ok for babies who can sit up well. I got the Fisher-Price Healthy Care Rainforest High Chair. My son doesn't care much for the toy that came with it but he loves sitting on the chair. The padding is great and you can adjust both the height and recline positions.

We have the Precious Planet one, to match everything else we got. I love it. She sits in it while I cook dinner and plays with the toy it comes with. It reclines and is easy to clean. I love it.

my sis in law had that one and I don't thin she cared for it when her daughter was little. I can't recommend any since we just started to use ours, Chicco, so I am still seeing if I like it. Depending on your seating situation I have seen many people do boosters that strap on their chairs.
