They are almost 1! What kind of party are you having?

For my daughters first birthday I am doing a Hello Kitty themed party. Also orange polka dots and pink floral design accents in the decorations. I'm making enchiladas and having a taco bar. I'm going to get a Hello Kitty cake and make chocolate moose pie. Tori turns one on the 29th and I am so excited to help her open presents and play with all her new toys!

I'm doing a pink/white and black theme. From the outfit to the cake to the plates and plastic wear... everything is pink white and black. Kind of started planning late, so, not sure there's going to be a lot of guests or presents... oh well, it should be fun anyway!

We had to pick a gender neutral theme so we're going with winnie the pooh as thats how the nursery is all decorated :) im so excited my partner even managed to get a jumping castle off a mate for cheap as there will be a fair few young kids there. we've spent a bit of money but they're only 1 once!!!

We have a hall at the base here (my fiances in the millitary so it was free) and our there is Elmos World (LOVES to dance to elmo!) so i made alot of my decorations.. i made everything look like alphabet blocks and i even used small boxes and painted them to look like alphabet blocks! we have about 18 children coming so we hired a themed face painter. I made a giant cookie monster poster and were having a cookie decorating table and elmos best friend is a goldfish named dorothy so im giving out goldfish with the kids treatbags! each fish will come with starter food and directions on how to maintain them :)

our sons sister is 3 so alot of the children coming are about that age.. so its fun for all ages! My fiance is also returning back from afganistan (he left last november!!) and hes only getting back 5 days after our son turns one and 4 days before the big party. so its kinda of like a welcome home party too! im VERY excited!

I don't have the room at home for a party but so much want to do something special for my Lewis's 1st Birthday so we are having a Teddy Bears Picnic in the local park with about 12 families attending. I have got decorations, ballons and games all sorted Ive even roped a friend into dressing up as a Teddy bear. I am so looking forward to it as I don't know anyone else who has done this.
