Do you already have names picked out or are you gonna wait until you see your little person to decide on a name for them?

My guy is impossible with names. He's SO picky. He doesn't like names that are spelled "weird," he doesn't like names that sound like 2 names put together, he likes classic names but not if they sound "old," he doesn't like "popular" names but he doesn't like "weird" names. Soooooooooooooo picky!

I say about 5 different names everyday, boy and girl names, and so far there's only 2 names that he "doesn't mind." But he doesn't like them either.

With our son, we had the boy name, Gabriel, picked out as soon as we found out I was pregnant. It was one of the first 3 boy names we mentioned and we loved it right away. The girl name we were still arguing about the morning that my water broke lol so I think this baby it will end up being the same deal, not sure right until the end!

What about your names? How did you choose your other kids names and did you know right away or when they were born?

I've never had an opinion about my name LOL some days I liked it, some days I thought it was stupid, other days I thought it was boring... I don't think I've ever hated it though. I hate how people spell it different than mine is spelled though hahahaha Jodi is the only way it should be spelled :p

Kym, Zoe & Summer are his top 3 right now.

lol I hear ya there.

Obama's not the best, but there are definitely worse :p I'm Canadian, so I dislike Obama for different reasons than Americans do haha that's a completely different conversation though !

I found out a couple days ago, Kym is one of the names my man really likes and it's at the top of his 'girl names' list!

LOL Jodi! I didn't even think about that :O I'm NOT a fan of Barrack Obama at all! It's nice to have the input from other moms on this perspective I guess :P they tell you all kinds of things you wouldn't have thought of by yourself!

My first lil guy was going to be Josh ... then the day he was born we changed to Wyatt and are very happy with our decision. If this baby is a girl it will be Paige Gale... thats been my plan since my first preg. hope it doesnt change!

Oh man, I didn't even think of that! I'm gonna date myself here a lil bit, I was thinking Bo Derek lol

I don't know what area you live in, but I'm sure there will be some people thinking Bo after B.O. Barrack Obama!

Jodi my husband is in LOVE with "Bo" but I can just imagine how much he is going to be made fun of if its spelt that way like Body Odor :O so I'm thinking we are gonna do it Beau whether he likes it or not :D

Kym, I love the name Aurora Lee ♥ My middle name is Lee :)

Are you going to spell his name Bo or Beau? Bo is generally the feminine spelling and Beau the masculine - not that it matters lol I'm just curious :P

I like Mason too Jennifer.

Thats crazy Nicky. My sons name is Gabriel and my brothers name is Steven... we thought of naming him Gabriel Steven but chose to go with his dads middle name instead.

My husband and I are pretty picky about names too. It took us quite a while to pick out a name for my son: Gabriel Steven. We also picked out a girls name the first time around and are sticking with that one so far this time: Isabella Alvita. The middle name is pretty unique, it was my granmother's name, who passed away during my last pregnancy. This time around the only boys name we have agreed on so far is Zachary Marcus.

With our first son, I started looking up names right away, with a boys name we had issues picking one out, I loved Nathanial, and he didnt! With a girls name, I had Breanna picked out since about 10 years before I could even procreate, lol. He didnt like that one either, but we negotiated because he liked Alyssa, so we decided on Alyssa Breanne for a girl. I ended up pregnant with a boy, and list after list, could not get him to decide until I was about 38 weeks pregnant. We finally agreed on Hunter Chase for my son. Now I get to go through all of it again, but Im going to make him help me choose a name a lot sooner because I didnt like saying "he" or "the baby" after we found out he was a boy, I wanted to start calling him by his name but couldnt because we didnt have a name. I think I really like Brayden or Chance for this one!

My hubby is the same way. Picky as all hell and won't help me decide on anything -___-; After going through about 5 different names for our first daughter, I finally came up with Chessa Jean-Marie two months before we had her, and it was perfect. So I figure this time around, if the hubby doesn't help, I'll just pull the "I'm carrying this baby for 9 months, and then pushing it out of me, therefore, I'm naming it," card. lol.

Just tonight though, I was thinking about the name Delilah (the way we originally were gonna spell it was Daylyla, but I think I'll change it, if I do decide on using that if this baby is a girl) and I know the hubby likes that one. So if it's a girl this time around she'll probably be Delilah Kerri-Lynn.

Boys, I'm not so sure...=/

As picky as he is, Devon does like the names Zoe & Abigail. My grandpa's name is William, Devon likes that name too.

So for right now, William & Zoe are on the top of the lists!

with my Lilly, I had the name picked out since I was little and was watching rugrats! lol. i said I like the name Lillian he said me too! Never thought twice about the name. Now boy names we could never agree. He liked Josiah and I liked Connor. Neither of us were willing to nagotiate... good thing it was a girl! Now with this baby I like the name Leah, he still likes Olivia. I like Olivia too, but Lilly and Leah sound cute together! lol. Plus he knew a girl named Leah that he said was a jerk. lol. Now he still wants Josiah for a boy and I want Elias for a boy... Eli for short. He won't back down! lol. We are both hoping for a girl tho!

With my first child we decided pretty early on on what his name would be. I looked on the internet and picked out names i liked for boy and girl and then i showed him what i had found that i liked and he chose which was his favorite. We decided on Braden for a boy and Taylor for a girl. After we found out we were having a little boy we decided on his middle name. My husband always loved the name Tripp from one of his dirtbike movies so we agreed on naming our first Braden Tripp.

With this one we already have names picked out. We both love the name Bentley Ray for a boy! We agreed on Mercedes Marie for a girl and we would nickname her Sadi. Picking out names for us is pretty easy because we both end up liking the same names!
