Adukt with Erb's Palsy

I was born in 1968 and I have Erbs's Palsy of the left arm/shoulder.
I weighed almost 10 pounds and got stuck.
The Dr (who was 63 yo) played tug if war with my head and a pair of forceps. My mother's right hip popped out of joint, the forceps caught my right ear and tore it off while Dr Too Damn Old pulled me out.
I am now 49 years old, and my Erb's Palsy never bothered me as a child.
As an adult however, I hide it.
I carry things in my left hand to make my arm appear normal, keep my left hand in a pocket when possible, etc.
I hate my arm. I can't lift it above the shoulder, can't turn my wrist over, and the older I get the more pain I have in my shoulder and scapula area.
I'm just waiting for the arthritis and any other problems that go along with it to kick in.
I don't have health insurance because I can't afford it.
I understand that it will only get worse as I age.
