i had my little girl a month ago and everything was going fine throughout my pregnancy, then my waters broke on the saturday and not much else happened so had to be induced the next day sunday as baby is now prone to infection, so they started with the gel and was told id b seen again in 6 hours this was at 10am, nothing happened then either as midwives never come back when they should I was then I was moved to high risk department to have the drip this was now 11pm, I was in labour all night I had the need to push in the early hours but was told I had still not fully dilated so could not, I was still in full labour by 3pm on Monday but was now told I had dilated enough to push, it was a slow process I was doing so well then the buzzers went my baby was stuck, shoulder dysplasia I later found out they call it, and I ended up with an entire room full of doctors and consultants and its at this stage when my daughter now has erb's palsy, as they damaged the nerves when pulling her out, they sent us to a physio a week later, was told anything about the condition only that healing depends on how many nerves were damaged and given some exercises to do, I have since read up online that erb's palsy is abit more severe than they have led me to believe, has anyone else been in this situation or have they been told more about the condition
