My bags are packed and ready :o) I havent nessasarily packed all this stuff coz I live so close to the hospital, but this is the list I used to pack...

FOR LABOUR

AnteNatal Booklet/ Records, Medicare card/ Private healthcare card,Birthplan, waterbottle, Pillow, Heat pack IPOD and/or any other electronics u have to calm/ relax u (TENs Machine/ even your DS or PSP :-p), Snacks (Lollypops are good and energy bars), Anything to make the hospital a little more homely or relaxing (ie. Lavender spray, relaxation candles, aromatheripy oils etc.) Hairties, Lipbalm, A flannel to keep on ur head, Massage Oil, an old shirt, A pen, Socks. And I have a 'visualisation package, with ultrasound fotos and such, to help me focus on the end result :-)

BIRTHING PARTNERS LABOUR NEED (Or just Labour bag Cont.)= Mobile and Mobile Charger, Reading Material, A watch, Camera and Camera Charger, Video Camera and Charger, A change of clothes, toothbrush (They may want to freshen up) List of people to contact, A bag of coins of the pay phone or chip machine, A bag of snacks, A pen, Panadol (was suggested to me, as sometimes they get stress headaches...)

HOSPITAL STAY

Night Clothes, Day Clothes, Maternity Bras, Plenty of clean undie, socks, slippers or slip on shoes, Thongs for the shower if u feel ness., Breast Pads, Maternity Pads, Nipple Cream if breast feeding, Toothbrush/ toothpast, Hairbrush, Deodorant, Lipbalm, Soap, Hairties, A watch (Normally there is no clocks in hospital rooms) Mobile and mobile Charger, and something to keep u occupied (ie reading material, puzzles etc.)

BABIES BAG (This kinda depends on ur hospital and what they do and dont supply for you, you will need to check)- Grow suits, Singlets, Socks, Mitens, Beanies, Cotton Blanket, Muslin Wraps, Nappies (Usually provided), Wipes (Heard wipes arent as widely provided for you), Cotton Balls, Shampoo, Massage Oil, Nail Scissors, Baby Brush.

Hope this helps, I know it helped me alot... As I said, it depends how far from the hospital you are, and how long u think you may stay, but I suppose its better to overpack then to not be organised :o) Good Luck with your packing

Ok I packed for my baby but not for me. I don't know what to put in the bag for me. But for the baby I have a full diaper bag. Everything from diapers to breast pump and clothes. Everything!!!! Now what to pack for me I don't know. Kinda confused. Any suggestions.

Yeah my husband actually made me do it like a week ago! haha. Pj's and slippers, at least 2 comfy outfits for urself including a nursing bra/nursing tank or shirt, lots of clean undies, and ur own pads i heard the ones they give u at the hospital r disgustingly HUGE! 2 outfits for baby: one for the pictures and one for coming home, and that should be it they provide bottles and diapers there so why waste urs! good luck and congrats!!
