my daughter is 7 months... they do say to give babies the cereal and fruit for breakfast and a cereal and veggie for dinner to hold off the meat until 9 months... but i tried to introduce meats and she is not interested!!! she ddoesnt like them mixed with veggies or cereal.. she just wont eat meat yet!! so i'l wait a little while and try again!! good luck.

At 7 months she should already be on solids hun! :)
Try her with baby cereal mixed with her milk and puréed veg. You can give a baby meat from 6 months. The breast of the chicken is the best to give them. Purée it with veg or do it separate with veg and mash. You can buy baby gravy in baby section in shop.
Hope this helps. x

What I was told by my doctor was to start with baby cereal and work up to baby cereal in the morning and fruit and veggies for dinner. She also said that we shouldn't introduce meat until 9 months. My friends doctor told her to start right away, and I believe she just purees it with the vegetables.

When we started solids, we started with one tablespoon of baby food a day and one tablespoon of vegetables for dinner. We still giver our daughter purees, but there are some lumps in it so she gets use to it.
