Does anyone have ideas for names yet? I know it's early, but so fun.

When I first found out i was pregnant I was going through baby name books and I picked a million names and I couldnt decided on which ones I actually like etc. I finally thought I should ask the hubby, So I asked him and he already knew what he wanted and he straight away answered Girl: Summer and Boy: Seth... and I loved them both, so it was settled from then on LOL

We are having a girl...due October 26th. We decided on Brynlee Paige pretty early on, I think even before we knew for sure she was a girl.

We are supposed to be having a little girl (tech was about 70% sure he didn't see boy parts, but we'll hopefully find out for sure on Aug. 5th!) and we're bringing two names with us to the hospital: Chessa Jean-Marie (Maternal Grandmothers name is Jean Marie) and Rayvyn Alynna (Lynn is my moms middle name)
And if it just so happens that we end up with outdoor plumbing on our hands, we are planning on naming him Keerynn Cody (Cody is my husband/babys dads name)

Quoting Carolyn:

It's so different for us b/c we lost our son (cord accident - s/b).  We'd discussed names early on and now I joke that we should've named him Isaac because he was a sacrifice.  DH has expressed a wish for a boy to name (Middle name) him James because his father figure, his Gpa, was James.  He died in 2007.  I'm fine with that.  I like Nathan James.  Dh's middle name is JohNATHAN.  For a girl I like Sarah (since I feel like Sarah!  Mama's OLD and it took 4 years to get pg!) Kathleeen (my mom's name is Kathleen.

There is so much emotion behind this so we're not really talking about it yet.  If I wanna harass DH I'll look @ him and say, "How 'bout Bocephus?"  "Hortense?"

Carolyn,

I have been feeling some of the same emotions you have.  Our daughter was still born on December 3rd, 2008 at 20 weeks.  We named her Trina Lynn (my oldest son helped name her).  Now this time I'm a little worried to start thinking and planning.  I think maybe I'm worried about getting attached.  But so far I haven't had any complications (I'm at week 14, but my problems usually start right about now).  I also went shopping this past weekend and got a few things and browsed other things.  I didn't get to do that with Trina b/c I was on bedrest for almost 2 months.  But I decided I can't constantly live in fear and worry that this baby won't make it either.  So, I have started thinking about names.  I really like Violet Lynn for a girl.  My great grandma is Violetta and my great Aunt is Viola.  For a boy I sorta like Adrian and Tristan.  They go well with my other boys' names which are Sebastian & Julian.  Good luck in your pregnancy.  This is a hard road.  I never thought we'd be talking about another baby so soon after losing our daughter, especially since it took us 2 years to get pregnant with her.  But here we are, blessed a 4th time!!

My daughters name is Alexandra Taylor she was supposed to be Alexandra Londyn until they asked me when I was heavily drugged so for baby #2 I am just picking out first names or going to keep them awaay from doctors till after I am de drugged.. I actually love Jordyn Nicole for a girl but like i said drugs speak alot for me lol... for a boy I love Ethan, Mason, Jake, Lucas

We can only agree on Madison for a girl :)  For a boy, we both love Easton Lewis (Lewis was my maiden name).

for a boy we for sure like the name Owen we might use Conner for the middle name but i'm not sure yet. And for the girl...we have a few we like but i think we are leaning more towards Payton.

My daughters are Elizabeth and Abigail, and my son is Viktor (already his name when we adopted him). For a boy I'm leaning towards Timothy; it's the name I had chosen during my pregnancies with the girls. For a girl I'm pretty set on Claire.

I know this is early, my daughters name is Ella, we like short and sweet names. For a boy it will be Adam Jarrod (AJ), for a girl have it narrowed down to Julia Anne, or Sara Anne

My daughter is Kendall, so I want it to sound okay with her name. Boys: Lincoln, Colton, Sullivan. Girls: Quinn, Hadley... I want a little different name, but not one that noone will recognize or pronounce. My DH and I both have very common names (think top 10) and would like something a little different.

I already have the boy name picked out.  He will be named after his grandpa and daddy.  If it's a girl we're still thinking/talking about it. but i think we're in between 2 right now.  Samantha and Katelyn.
