Ok I am having really bad pains in my lower pelvic area and in my back as well. Any suggestions on how to relieve the pain? Medications haven't helped and I don't really like going that route.

I usually massage the spot gently in little circles and slow down for a minute until it passes. It usually happens when I change positions after sitting/lying down for a while. It is painful.
Bananas have potassium in them, which is good for soreness.
I get trouble in my hips a bunch too. so I make hubby massage my lower back/hips when he gets home from work. It doesn't fix the problem, but does ease the pain for a short while.

I only get them when I roll in bed wrong or twist to fast. Just slow down and learn to use other muscles to turn. I've never had that much of a problem. Your back may be your sciatic nerve. That can be painful and travel down your leg as well. I've only had a twinge of that a time or two in my past pregnancys, but it does hurt. Some people have that a lot, some don't.
