Hi,
Tina here.
I've taken a urine test this morning which confirmed my suspicions of being pregnant. It feels similar to the first time - though the first time was 11 years ago when I was only 20. Now I have a daughter, Finn, who is in sixth grade.
I'm worried about the age difference. If I truly am pregnant, there will be an eleven year age difference between the two. I'm also not sure how my daughter would respond - she has always been very anti-siblings.
What should I do?

I have a 10 yr age difference between my second and third and I have loved it. It has been the most fun watching my youngest grow and learn. For your daughter just approach it in a positive manner. Talk about the positives. Address her concerns and worries. For those concerns and worries that you can make a plan of attack so she feels good about the situation do so.....example not getting time with you without baby....have some mother/daughter date ideas and times after the baby arrives in place before baby comes. (But make the times realistic too....you may not want a leave your house date that first week)....Instead maybe a spa night or game you can play at home as baby naps.
