Hi Pregnant Mommies,
Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. I know the feeling of waiting for your little one to arrive. I'm a stay at home mom and have just finished my book: Praying Through Your Pregnancy and would love to hear your story about praying for your baby. Did you or are you praying for your baby? What are your prayers for? Did you pray for your other children and have you seen those prayers come true?
I'd love for you to leave any prayer request you may have at: www.PrayForYourBaby.com .
Have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Jennifer

I love this idea, I have been out of church for a while and frankly haven't spent time with God either and now finding out I'm pregnant again has definitely renewed my thirst.

I used to attend Church on a regular basic back a couple of year. I attended the same Evangelic-Batist Church for about 5 years up til 2-3 years ago. In the Spring and Fall they have a get away for the weekend kind of Camp. I met my son's dad in Church and also had been trying to get pregnant with my ex-boyfriend without success before that. At one of those Camp we pray a lot and someone comes from out of the country and is doing the talking. At some point the Pastor said to give offers (money). Not always people are giving money, it could also be something that is dear to you. As a way to say thanks to God for all that he's doing in your life. The Pastor said: If you feel like God is asking you to give something, give it and God will answer your prayer. I felt very strongely that I had to give my Bible... which didn't make much sense to me... cuz I need my Bible and it was a bible that was given to me at Church as I didn't have one when I first started to go there. I had written notes in it and underline importante things and had a bunch of little paper inside. I Strongely Wanted To Be Blessed With A Baby. I took all my paper and separator from my Bible and had to give it. It was like the bible was burning my hand and heart. I had been trying for a long time to have a baby (with a different partner) and I couldn't take the chance to miss out on that chance by being so rational. I felt in my heart that it was the right thing to do. About a month or two month after that I discover that I was pregnant and very pregnant as when I past the test, it didn't even take the 3 minutes the test request. Not even one minutes and it was all positive. Actually as the line appear, both line appear as the pee when up the stick. I was so excited... and Bless. I am sure til this day that it was God and the trust I had on the day that God would take care of me. My son is a miracle !!! I was very thankful to God. Didn't have any complication while pregnant other than the normal nausea at the beginning. But no diabete, no swelling. I had a midwife and a home birth. I don't regret a thing and I am ready to go down that road again. My son is now 6 and I want him to have at least a sibling (hoping for a girl). Now I am trying for a year to conceive. I had a miscarriage in February and will soon get help from the OB's office to help with the ovulation. If it is God's will, I soon will have a precious little one !!! God Bless each of you.

Absolutely! I prayed for all my children while I was pregnant. Not only for good health and safe delivery but also that I would be able to teach them to follow the word of God and that they would grow to love and serve him with a pure heart. I also prayed that God would help me equip them with the tools they would need to withstand the tempation of this world and peer pressure they may deal with as they grow.

I have seen this work. My oldest son is now 16. He is active in the church choir and youth group and hates to miss a church service or bible study most recently he pitched in to support the church with a community outreach event, my youngest at 9 is always eager to sing in the choir and get active in children's group. God heard my prayers and I am thankful.

Hi Jennifer!
Well my husband and I have been together for 6 years. Almost immediately we knew we were going to be together forever and wanted to start a family. We tried and tried to get pregnant but wasn't able too. I went to a total of 4 different gynecologist and every since one of them told us that I had something that I didn't have and that problem was causing the chronic stomach pain and infertility. We prayed that we would get through this and God would give us a baby.. so after a few months I went and seen a different doctor. Dr. Forest was awesome! He found out that I had Endomitriosis. I immediately had surgery on November 24, 2008. After my surgery they put me on Depo Lupron injections which shuts the ovaries down and throws your body into post-menopause. My doctor told us once I get off the Depo Lupron and I have my first period I should be able to get pregnant with no problem and to help me get pregnant he gave me a prescription for Clomid. We even bough a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor which cost us $300 plus another $50 for the test sticks. It was completely worth it! November 3, 2009 I had my first period I did everything the doctor and monitor told me to do and sure enough we got pregnant! I'm 22 weeks pregnant, due August 10Th. We prayed every day for a miracle to get pregnant.. and now we pray every day to stay pregnant and to have a health baby boy!

I pray all the time for my baby that he is safe and is healthy as soon as he comes out. I am also praying for my friend who after two years of trying finally got pregnant and last week just lost the baby. I am praying for her strength to keep moving forward after such a heartbreaking loss.

I have prayed during both pregnancies. I will admit I forget when I am really tired but as soon as I remember I say a quick prayer. I mostly just ask for healthy/happy babies and my son has been nothing but since he was born. There hasn't been many days go by that he hasn't had a smile on his face (he's almost 2). Really what else could you ask for.

I pray all day long and dont even notice it until i am done! I think I pray mostly for my child to be strong and not to let the daily trials of life get them down and to always hold their head up high and to know who truely loves them. :)

I do pray for my baby & did for my 1st also. I mostly ask God to bless my children & for his Will to be done. We are high risk for Down Syndrome, so I just hand it over to the Lord & not think anymore on it. My daughter is 18 months & every night since she was born I say the Lords Prayer with her as part of our bedtime routine. I look forward to the day when she joins in.
