I am 16 weeks pregnant. I go back to my doctor the 25 of July. When is baby's sex developed enough to tell what the sex of the baby is?

If you could zoom in enough, you can tell as early as 13 weeks but since technology isn't that advanced usually 18 - 20 weeks is normal.
Also @ Gina, I don't know where you live but here in Edmonton, it is not like that. With my first son I had my first ultrasound around 16 weeks because I wasn't sure when I got pregnant. They told me when I asked and said they "think" it's a boy but it was a little too early to definetly tell and to ask again because the doctor would be sending me for another ultrasound to confirm dates/make sure everything was still developing normally.

20 weeks is the best time to get an accurate gender. Before this is just to early because the parts look so much alike.

In Canada, Dr.'s won't tell you the gender of the baby at all. The only way to find out is to pay for a private clinic to do an ultrasound, and they won't do it before 20 weeks. Which means I still have a month and a half before I can find out. :(
