Boy or Girl?

I am pregnant with twins and about 2 months ago i found out i was expecting b/g twins. Everything was fine until yesterday. I had an ultrasound and the woman kept referring to the twins as boys. When i said i was having b/g twins she said whoever did the ultrasound must have been wrong because i am definately having twin boys. I am really confused. Can they get it wrong when they tell you the sex of your baby? I don't know what to think now and just really confused

they sure can, i am 34 weeks pregnant and on my 5 mths scan i was told i was having a girl, then i had to have a scan a wk later and they said he was a boy for sure, then at 29 wks was told i was having a girl, so i went for a 3d ultrasound and sure enough he was a boy and was clear as day to see, like i thought all along, i think the boy parts must hide sometimes :)

Absolutely! When we found out we were having a girl, we were skeptical for a couple months after that. Simply because her developing vagina looked a LOT like a penis. It's very obvious now that she is defiantly a girl!

I would suggest plan for the boy and have one or two dresses in case one or both are girls. Yes it is easy for them to NOT see the baby's penis when doing an ultrasound. (size or just the way the light falls, etc.)
I say congrats on both babies and just pray that they are happy and healthy.
good luck and god bless

yes its only 85 percent acurate and girls are harder to diagnose then boys. i found out 5 weeks ago that im having a girl but mine is 100 percent as i found out through a chromosome test

oh that can be scarey because i'm still trying to take it in that i'm having a girl because i have a son already, that's why i'm still in disbelief because i want a girl but didn't see any thing in between the legs like it did with my son so i hope for my sake they haven't got it wrong because this will be my last. but i will double check when i get another scan at 34 weeks.

with a 3D ultrasound they are usually right but with just a 2D they can be wrong. I had the 3D ultrasound for my son and got a perfect pic of his penis it looks to me by your profile pic that you had the 3D ultrasound if you go for another one ask them to point out the penis or vigina and take a pic of it so you can show/ask our family

yeah it happens alot that they get it wrong and it can be really upsetting but it is really hard for them to tell sometimes because sometimes little girl bits look like little boy bits because of swelling and stuff, if you have another scan before your due then ask again what your having.
