They've done studies that prove fetal heart rate has nothing to do with gender so I would believe the ultrasound. And Parker is considered a unisex name so it could be used either way.

well I would definatly go with the US as well. Though during mine I was told I was having a girl (after already having 2 boys) but 20 mins later I was told oops we are having another boy... It was very obvious that he was a he at that point lol... but had he been a girl I had Kinley picked out

I always liked Danica (dani for short) or Contessa (tess for short).. my husband is a little more traditional though so our daughter is Charlotte, although gets called Charliza by her big bro or Charz! ;o)

I had an US a few days ago and my baby's heartbeat was 190bpm. My baby boy had no shame in hiding his gender! I asked the stenographer about the rumor that the higher the heartbeat the more likely it is a girl? She told me baby's heartbeat will vary during the day. She scan's pregnant mums all day long as part of her training clinic and cannot personally link gender and heartbeat. I would definitely be swayed by the US and not the doppler. I would have named my baby Skylah if it were a girl. Not sure how unusual this is?? But I loved it.

I would go with the Ultrasound. Although they aren't 100%. But seeing is believing. Judging by my sons heart rate when I was pregnant, they thought he was a girl. I got my ultrasound and it was definately a boy.
