I am 33 1/2 weeks pregnant and the baby has been head down at every doc appt until yesterday. He is now in the breech position. Is there anything I can do to encourage the baby to get back into the head down position?

376 My son, though only flipped head down when i was on my hands and knees scrubbing my floor because my mop broke. :) You can play music by your pelvic bone. Put something warm by your pelvic bone, but cold by your ribs. Baby's head will try to get away from chilly and get warm. I know there are lots of exercises you can find online. It's also possible for doc to try to manually turn baby - it's not comfy, but sure beats a c section! Keep trying - many babies still turn head down late at 37wks.

I had the same thing happen to me. Baby had been head down since 26 weeks. I had a scan done around the same time and baby was breech. Well, next day, baby was back head down and has been since. I know where I live, they can sometimes flip babies in the hospital using ultrasound or something. Good luck!

From my lamaze class info.... If you get on your hands and knees and do pelvic tilts that can help flip the baby and also in a dark room you can shine a flashlight where the head it and circle it around to your pelvis slowly several times that has also flipped babies before. Good luck!
